Social Networking: 75% of Women vs. 69% of Men
Women are more active in the social networking space than men, according to new research from comScore. Globally, social
networks reach about 75% of women compared with 69% of men. The full report is titled: Women on the Web: How Women are Shaping the Internet.
The study also found:
• Women spend, on average, 5.5 hours per month on social networking sites
• Men spend 3.9 hours
• Women consume 57% of social pages
